PROCEDURES |
| MANDATORY CLASSIFICATION RULE. |
| a. | MOVE-UP TEAMS (S). A team which has four or more players on a roster, including Pick-Up Players, from a team or teams that are subject to the MASA Move-Up Rule, must participate in at least the next higher classification in their next MASA tournament- playing season. | |
| EXCEPTION: | Any team that finishes below a 3 - 2 record
(excluding forfeits), the MASA Move-Up Rule does not apply. |

| b. | RESTRICTED CLASSIFICATION TEAM (S). A team that wins two or more games (excluding forfeits) in MASA State Championship play may not participate in "MASA tournament play" in a lower classification within the same division during their next MASA tournament season. A team which has five or more players on a roster, including Pick-Up Players, from such team or teams shall be considered the same classification at which the team participated. | |
| c. | Any and all appeals involving teams that are subject to the ' MASA Mandatory Classification Rule' must be submitted to the MASA Appeals Board. | |
| d. | RIGHT OF APPEAL. All MASA teams shall have the ' Right of Appeal ' regardless of whether or not they are subject to the ' MASA Mandatory Classification Rule ' . | |
