Classification Code

Men's Fast Pitch

Class E

  1. Must use local league roster.
  2. In 2007, legislation was passed to allow the MASA President to appoint a sub-committee to review annually the teams that will move up to the next class their next MASA tournament playing season. Each Spring, this sub-committee will meet to review all tournament records and determine the teams that will move up to the next class.
  3. Must have a record below .500 if playing in a league comprised of Class D and above teams.
  4. May have a record above .500 if playing in a league comprised of Class E teams.
  5. Must not place higher than 4th in any tournament that is Class D and above.

Class D

  1. Must use local league roster.

Class C

Class B

All teams wishing to advance to the ASA Men's Major Fast Pitch National Championship.
