Classification Procedures

General Rules

TEAM REGISTRATIONS. Absolutely no registration of teams desiring to participate in state tournament play will be accepted after June 15, of the current year.

ROSTER DEADLINE. All tournament rosters are due in the District Commissioners office no later than June 15, of the current year. Individual districts may establish an earlier date. Managers should check with their respective District Commissioners for the applicable deadline.

APPEALS and VOLUNTARY MOVE-UPS. All Classification Appeals and Voluntary Move-Up Teams must be submitted to their respective District Commissioner no later than June15, of the current year. Voluntary Move-Up teams are limited to moving up a maximum of two classes.

MASA MANDATORY CLASSIFICATION RULE. Teams that are subject to the MASA Classification Rule must properly submit any and all appeals prior to participating in tournament play.

CLASSIFICATIONS. (MASA Commissioners Only) All team classifications are due into the state office by July 01 of each year.
