Mission Statement

The mission of the Michigan Amateur Softball Association is to promote softball as an affordable, accessible activity to communities through uniform, quality programs consistent with the Amateur Softball Association of America. 

Current News

Fee Increase

All adult team registration fees will increase by $1.00. Please check with your MASA district commissioner for your team registration fee.

Any team registering after May 31st will be charged an addition $15.00 late fee.

Hall of Fame Pledge Program

The Michigan Amateur Softball Association has established a Pledge Program for individuals and businesses looking to charitably support the Hall of fame. As a donor, you have the opportunity to pay tribute to the legends of the softball world.

Louisville Slugger Model SB73V TPS Voltage:

As of January 05, 2011, the Louisville Slugger Model SB73V TPS Voltage previously approved by ASA has been removed from the Approved Bat List. This bat has now been placed on the Non Approved Bats with Certification Mark list.

ASA Hall of Fame.

Three (3) people from Michigan have been inducted into the ASA Hall of Fame in Myrtle beach, SC on November 09, 2011. They are as follows:

2012 National Championship

Port Huron has been awarded the 2012 Men's 10-man Modified Pitch National Championship.

1975 Men's Major Modified National Championship.

The MASA state office received photos from Frank Cecero who played for the national champion's Silvestri's Service Station from Stanton Island. This was the first ASA Men's Major Modified Pitch National Championship in Port Huron, Michigan in 1975.

The De Leo Fund

MASA is asking the softball community to help our ASA Regional District 08 Umpire in Chief, Mike De Leo and his wife, Diane. Click here for further information.

MASA launched our new Web site on Monday, September 21st. We have created tabs at the top of the page for each division of play for easier access. All information for each tab should be located within.
