MASA SANCTIONED INVITATIONAL

GUIDELINES

1. Teams. Only teams currently registered with MASA will be allowed to Participate.
2. Awards. No cash prizes may be awarded to any individual, team or sponsor.
3. Conflicts. No Invitational Tournament may be conducted which will conflict with MASA State Elimination play.
4. Notification. All teams shall receive adequate notification of game schedules prior to the start of the tournament. All entry blanks and publicity shall include the words Sanctioned Invitational MASA Tournament.
5. Rosters. Teams must participate with the same roster as used in regular season play. The team roster must include the teams District Commissioner signature or their designee. Exception: each team may add three pick-up players from another MASA registered team.
6. Umpires. Only registered ASA umpires may be used.
7. Sanction Fee. A $10.00 Sanction Fee per tournament or age classification, will be paid to the MASA State Office prior to the start of the tournament( s ).

The cost of sanctioning a tournament includes a listing on the MASA Internet website, masasoftball.org.

It is suggest that the tournament site purchase tournament liability insurance. Please contact this office for details.

The maximum charge for any one MASA Affiliated Member is Fifty and No/100 ( $50.00 ) as indicated on the sanction form.
